class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Find a safe parking spot with enough room<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you think that there is not enough room for you to park in or you feel unsafe doing so, simply move on and search for a different <a href=\"https:\/\/parkingottawa.com\/tips-for-choosing-a-parking-spot\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" Signal to the right<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noopener\">Signalling<\/a> is important because it lets the drivers behind you know that you plan to park on the side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img Pull over to the side by steering wheel to the right<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Once it is safe to do so, you enter the parking spot as you are steering your wheel to the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure surroundings and the <a href=\"https:\/\/glassdoctor.com\/blog\/adjust-your-car-mirrors-for-maximum-visibility-and-safety\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/glassdoctor.com\/blog\/adjust-your-car-mirrors-for-maximum-visibility-and-safety\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">side mirror<\/a> to know if you&#8217;ll be hitting the curb. Before you hit the curb, steer the wheel to the left to allow the car to angle itself in the parking spot.
